Thank you, thank you, thank you. Here is the results of the first 30 days of the M.O.B. Project, all of my hard work, perseverance and help from my M.O.B. Squad! I couldn't have been quite as successful without the support from all of you! Again ... thank you, thank you, thank you.

So ... this is the M.O.B. dress, the one and only that I have been talking about for a month, and here is my very beautiful and glowing daughter that made me the M.O.B. She could not have been happier than she was on this day. I, as a mom, shared that glow and the feeling of the day's elation. I know that this endeavor started off as a last ditch attempt to look fabulous for the wedding, but so much more has come from this.

First and foremost, I gained the most amazing Son In Law, and along with him an equally magnificent extended family. Like I mentioned in my speech, I feel so fortunate that my Son in Law's family has welcomed my daughter in with open arms and I adore them for it.

Secondly, I got back my motivation to get healthy and to lose some weight.
Thirdly, I generated a huge support group of fantastic people that motivated me even more.
Fourthly, I have been able to motivate others to join me in this healthy living journey and that's worth more than all of the rest. I get to help people make a change in their lives. it doesn't get better than that I'm afraid, me losing weight and feeling like a million bucks is now just an added bonus.
last but not least, I'm now motivated to go to the next step and get in shape. In joining the 16 week IsaBody challenge, I have another goal in mind to help me moving forward. GO M.O.B. Squad!

The bottom line is ... not only did I fit into my dress, it was loose. My plan came to fruition that I did not have to wear disgusting panty hose or SPANX. Sorry to the guys who know nothing about these things, but the women will get it. I had to take the straps up, sew darts in the sides so that it fit better, but I was SO okay with that. I took the sides in an inch and a half on each side. yes three inches!!! Needless to say when I lost he weight, of course, chest went first. (I'm crying inside) but happy as well because my hips are also disappearing. WOOHOO!

Here's a fabulous picture of me and my aunt after the ceremony ... it was such a fun day. So much love everywhere, all of our families came out for the occasion. I loved feeling as fabulous as I did and can attribute 90% of that to rocking this weight loss, my energy revamp and my new lease on life. By this time, I had lost 13 pounds, the easiest inch and weight loss I have ever had.
My parents, the G.O.B. had also transformed in the short time and we all looked forward to the rest of our journey!

Hair was done by my favourite hair dresser Randi Bakker. She always knows what to create without having to say anything! I can't wait to share the professional pictures once they are ready. My dress is from Melanie Lynn, shoes from Le Chateau, clutch from Laura. Jewelry ... my own designs.
I did feel like a million bucks, except for the extreme heat and I was thankful to have had my makeup professionally done because mine would have literally melted off. In dancing the night away (and we all did) I definitely gave it my best go. I would share those pictures but my dance moves left much to be desired. Here is the finished product from the Makeup Artist at "Makeup by Kim".

My sisters from anotha motha, love these gals, grew up with them and they have been SO supportive of the M.O.B. project and my journey. Unconditional lovin', yes this is what it looks like.

So ... this is a very happy and elated M.O.B. for so many, many reasons. This picture, although not too clear, I think describes how I felt the entire day. I have loved this process so much, the M.O.B. will not be disappearing any time soon and our M.O.B. Squad keeps growing and the support keeps building. I can't wait to see the results of the rest of the M.O.B. squad ... I will be cheering them on the entire time.

You don't have to be a M.O.B or a G.O.B. to get in this challenge, you just need to want to improve your life, your health and we can do it together.
